Mental Health Series – CIM Magazine
Conceptualized, assigned and edited a series on mental health in the workplace, which earned a National Magazine Awards: B2B honourable mention.

Internship Program – CIM Magazine
Built and led year-round, full-time internship program and created the magazine’s first permanent Staff Writer role. Mentored and guided interns from their first published story to freelance assignments, strengthening the magazine’s talent pipeline. 

Digital Transformation – Toast Media
Led organizational shift from local print magazine to daily online publication. Oversaw editorial operations, team performance and workflow systems, implementing strategies that increased website sessions by 223% year-over-year. Content gained national visibility, including backlinks from major media brands including Cosmopolitan and Morning Brew.

New Forum Magazine Launch
Co-founded and launched a literary magazine, recruiting and mentoring a multidisciplinary team while managing the full end-to-end production of our first issue on a four-month timeline, which won Gold for Best Essay and was a Finalist for Best New Magazine in the 2020 Alberta Magazine Awards.

COVID-19 Newsroom – Farm Business Consultants
Spearheaded a rapid-response newsroom translating complex government relief programs into actionable guidance for 16,000 small business owners. Designed content strategy, assigned stories and led the team to produce clear, timely and reliable coverage under pressure.
