Alumni Story Hub – Bow Valley College
Created and launched the College’s first alumni storytelling hub. Developed the content strategy, editorial framework and foundational content. The hub transformed alumni storytelling from a series of one-off stories into a sustainable, reusable communications asset that showcases alumni achievement, demonstrates donor impact and supports ongoing alumni engagement.

Report to Community – Bow Valley College
Led the strategic transformation of the College’s flagship publication from a traditional print publication to a digital storytelling campaign. Developed the communications strategy and directed collaboration across multiple teams to deliver a multi-platform product that expanded reach and engagement.

Mental Health Series – CIM Magazine
Conceptualized, commissioned and edited a feature series exploring mental health in the mining industry. The project tackled a complex and often underreported topic and earned an Honourable Mention at the 2025 National Magazine Awards: B2B edition.

COVID-19 Newsroom – Farm Business Consultants
Led a daily newsroom that translated evolving government relief programs into actionable guidance for more than 16,000 small business owners. Developed content strategy, assigned coverage and oversaw editorial production under tight deadlines.

Before moving into editorial and communications leadership, I worked as a journalist producing long-form features, profiles and investigative reporting—taking stories from pitch through to publication.

Where Calgary – “The diary of a ghost opera”
A behind-the-scenes look at the Old Trout Puppet Workshop’s groundbreaking production.

Avenue Calgary – “Facing forward: Self-care services for women living with cancer in Calgary”
A feature on how cancer treatment affects identity and self-image, and how Calgary programs help women rebuild confidence and regain a sense of control after diagnosis. This piece earned Silver for Service Journalism in the 2018 Alberta Magazine Awards.

Fast Forward Weekly – “Fighting for the right to work”
An investigative report on the discrimination faced by trans-identified individuals in Alberta workplaces.
